Warning. Please contact your local authorities to make sure you can keep monkeys. Monkeys are also a huge commitment and only dedicated and committed pet owners should consider getting one.
Make sure you also buy from legitimate breeders. Ensure they have a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) licensed breeding facility. Report breeders who you suspect do not have a licensed facility or you think may be poaching from the wild (or buying poached animals from the wild).
